Latvian-Made Waffen-SS Aluminium Collar Runes

Original WWII-period Latvian-made Waffen-SS collar runes, produced from lightweight aluminium. This locally manufactured type is associated with Latvian Waffen-SS formations and differs noticeably from standard German factory-made insignia.

Both runes show a simple stamped/pressed construction with raised borders. Found condition, with oxidation, surface wear and traces of corrosion consistent with age and ground exposure. Both pieces remain complete and retain a clear, well-defined shape.

An interesting and scarce Latvian Waffen-SS relic, suitable for a Latvian Legion or Eastern Front collection.
